Welcome to the Low-Fodmap Life!

Dear fellow low-fodmappers,

Thanks for joining me! Welcome to a journey to a better, happier, less uncomfortable version of yourself. I have spent the past five years learning about Irritable Bowel Syndrome and struggling along the way so you don’t have to. I hope you find some of the information I have stumbled across over the past few years and some of my own experiences to be useful in your process of finding what works best for you.

When I started to realize I had digestive troubles, I was a senior in college. Between eating junk nonstop, late nights studying for exams, always being on the go between interning at the Attorney General’s Office and interviewing for full-time jobs for after graduation, not to mention the stress of moving onto a new chapter of uncertainty in my life, I started to really notice significant changes in how I felt after eating.

It started to get so bad that I would start to limit my life. I wouldn’t go out to eat with people, I wouldn’t go places I didn’t know for fear that there wasn’t a bathroom nearby, and I wouldn’t drink because that always made me feel much worse.

But this wasn’t a way to live. I knew that. I needed to make a change. So I did. Join me to learn how I made changes to my life and learn how you can make similar changes.

Thanks, and eat well,
Lexi
